When it comes to creativity, I am definitely a jack of all trades (master of none) and that makes me very happy. I love to dabble!
Making my heart embroidery recently, I realised that, while working on it, my thoughts meandered quite usefully and I really thought a lot about hearts and what they mean to me and a lot of questions (maybe one or two answers too) flitted quite comfortably in and out of my mind. I decided visual arts were a valid part of my thinking process (maybe even my research?) and that I wanted to do more heart-based art and craft projects.
But if this hands-on, practical, visual creativity helps me to think about hearts, maybe it would help you too? Not everybody feels an affinity to written words, after all. That’s why I’ve decided to include a wider variety of creative activities on the blog and am in the process of setting up a dedicated page to share any resources I find or create. This pixelated heart pattern (which can be used for a variety of crafts) is the first of, hopefully, many. Everything I share on the page will be entirely FREE to download for your personal use. All I ask is that you don’t sell items you make and that you share pictures of what you make/let me know how you got on.
Go check out the (still very much under construction) creative resources page and…happy making!
